Dear parents and students,

Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year. We are starting our fifth year in Kota Baru Parahyangan and are excited to continue striving towards building a stronger educational program for all of you so you will be successful in your career endeavors. I love working at BAIS as it is great to be in a school that strives to have students achieve their full potential academically, physically, socially and spiritually! 2011-2012 brought us a renewed six year accreditation with WASC and ACSI, an on-line school management system called RENWEB, an elementary standards-based online grading system called TEACHER EASE, a new computer standardized testing system called MAP, a new library management system called DESTINY, a school-wide Mandarin program and extended day classes for those wishing to study beyond 2:45 pm. The big changes that you will see this school year include a new computer lab for the secondary students, new IT hardware and software in many of the classrooms (LCD projectors and speakers), and air conditioners throughout the school building. God continues to bless us as we grow our educational programs and facilities.

We value the BAIS family and community and feel very blessed to have this team of staff, parents and students with us for the 2012-2013 season. We are committed to giving you a quality education and look forward to everything that this year will bring. Parents, we encourage your involvement with PACE (Parents Active in Children’s Education) and we look forward to getting to know you better throughout the year. We continue to strive for more unity in our community and to have good communication. Students, we continue to look forward to partnering with you as you strive for excellence in all areas of your life. It is a privilege to serve in Indonesia and to be here with all of you.
