Dear parents and students,
Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year. We are so glad to have you with us and part of our BAIS family. We are so glad to be starting our third year in Kota Baru Parahyangan and are excited to continue striving towards building a stronger educational program for all of you so you will be successful in your career endeavors. It is great to be in a school that strives to have students achieve their full potential academically, physically, socially and spiritually! Our school wide goal for this year will be that students will demonstrate higher-level thinking skills in all academic disciplines through writing and speaking.
We ask that you read this handbook in its entirety and talk through the many policies and guidelines that help us run BAIS effectively. This handbook should answer most of your questions, but if you have any remaining ones feel free to stop in and ask any member of our administrative team. We administrators are always referencing this book to guide our practices and we trust that you will find this handbook helpful. I welcome back Ms. Charity LaMertha and Mr. Daniel Cooley as our Principals!
We really value the BAIS family and community and feel very blessed to have this team of staff, parents and students with us for the 2010-2011 season. We are committed to giving you a quality education and look forward to everything that this year will bring. Parents, we encourage your involvement with PACE (our parent association) and we look forward to getting to know you better throughout the year. Our staff goal this year will be to build good relationships with our BAIS community including parents and neighbors. We’ll be assessing this throughout the year so please let us know how we are doing. Students, we continue to look forward to partnering with you as you strive for excellence in all areas of your life.
