BAIS Admission Policy
Bandung Alliance International School does not discriminate against students on the basis of national, ethnic, or racial origin. The school respects the religious preferences of parents and students; however, all classroom instruction is in the context of the stated doctrinal position of the school. The school maintains the right to refuse admission to students not meeting the school’s academic requirements or to students displaying a lack of willingness to meet the code of conduct of the school.
The birth date cut-off for entrance into first grade shall be age six on or before September 30th of the current school year.
Admission Process
1. Submit inquiry form
2. Grade reports and achievement tests from previously attended schools must be submitted
3. Submit completed application form, immunization records, and copies of passport and KITAS
4. Entrance testing is required for students who have English as a second language, are coming from Home School, are a Preschooler, or does not have standardized test scores. Testing can be scheduled by the Admissions Coordinator once all of the above steps have been completed. The testing fee is Rp 250.000.
5. Interview with the Administrator and completion of the Admissions Checklist
6. Registration fee of US$100 submitted the day of acceptance
7. Students admitted during the school year will have at least a 24 hour waiting period before they join their classes (in order for the teachers to prepare for the new student)
