I was born and raised in east Tennessee, and there are records dating back to 2nd grade of me saying that I wanted to be a teacher. Even then God was preparing me for the path that awaited! All the wrong doors were shut and the right doors opened my senior year of college for me to move overseas. The journey to Indonesia marked my first time on an airplane and my first time ever outside the United States. I praise God for how He stretches us and calls us according to His plans. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be!
