"My husband and I came to BAIS because we had felt God leading us to have a ministry overseas for several years. BAIS has proved to be a great opportunity, and I love teaching children from all over the world! There are many things I like about Bandung—being from a “flat” state (Iowa), I love living in the mountains—it’s so beautiful! There are also fun cultural things to do here that I enjoy, from holiday celebrations to trying new foods. It’s been a great experience so far, and I am excited to see what God will continue to do here."
