It is my sincere honor to welcome you to the 2021-2022 school year at BAIS. I would like to especially welcome our new students and their families to our school community. This will mark our 14th year in beautiful Kota Baru Parahyangan. We are proud of our efforts to strengthen and improve our facilities and educational program to prepare students for their lives today, university tomorrow, and their futures as leaders around the globe. Opening its doors in 1956, BAIS has a long history in Bandung providing an excellent, high-quality, Christian education. As we look back at our history and see the achievement and success of our current students and alumni, we are excited to see what God has in store for us this year!
At BAIS, we take pride in the active involvement of our school community. Parents, we invite you to be involved in Parents Active in Children’s Education (PACE), which is designed specifically for you. Students, consider your interests and get involved in the numerous activities we have available. Your involvement and use of your many gifts and talents truly enhances the experience for our entire school community.
I am humbled that you would choose BAIS for your children’s education. Understanding the ongoing effects of the worldwide pandemic which began in 2020-2021, we recognize your desire for a safe and welcoming environment for your children. As a school committed to providing high quality, college preparatory education, we look forward to meeting your needs and seeing our students become servant-leaders, global citizens, and life-long learners grounded in the truth of God’s Holy Word.

Dialogue with the Director
Dialogue with the Director
Parents may always individually schedule an appointment through the front office secretary to meet with Mr. Thomas, Director. The Director also meets with parents four times a year (once per quarter) for a “Dialogue”. The Director will come with a few pieces of information and/or policy to discuss and answer questions, and then be available to answer questions and dialogue with you about your concerns. Historically at least one other administrator joins to help answer specific school level questions. Please come to the Dialogues and we’ll do our best to translate for the different languages. At least one Dialogue a year will be language based (multiple meetings) to help facilitate cultural discussions and answer questions.
