Dear All, 

As a reminder, in the BAIS parent student handbook on pages 13 and 14 (contagious diseases and determining Illness), Students are required to be sent home immediately if they have these symptoms and symptoms must be absent from the child for at least 24 hours before returning to school:

• Just vomited
• Fever over 38 degrees C
• Moderate to severe diarrhea
• Draining skin rash or lesion
• Head lice
• Pink eye
• Grossly productive cough

The purpose of this policy is to prevent the spread of illnesses to the other students. Please help us by reminding your students to:

• Cover their mouth (with their arm) when they cough and sneeze
• Wash hands or use antiseptic gel frequently
• Practice physical distancing from others
• Get at least 8 hours of sleep nightly
• Eat well-balanced meals with fresh fruits and vegetables
• Take a multivitamin daily
