Issue 17 – January 13, 2017

From the Director’s Desk

Dear Community,

Welcome back to the first week of our second semester. I hope and pray that the break from school activities was a welcome time of refreshment. I also hope and pray that this next semester is filled with learning of the wonders and glory of God as we continue to operate in community here at BAIS.

One very important announcement regarding a calendar change and the dates of our Student Led Conferences. As you may recall, I sent a brief survey out to the parents looking to understand the impact such a change would make. Thank you so much for the feedback, and the overwhelming support of the change made our decision that much easier. Please note the new calendar snapshot below, paying particular attention to April 13th (changing from SLC to a normal school day) and May 12th (changing from a normal school day to SLC).

Also, we will be sending our our annual community climate survey on Monday. We will be sending a link to you so please take 10 minutes to complete the survey. We truly value our community feedback. We will be sending the survey link on three consecutive Monday’s and will close the survey February 3rd. Thank you in advance for your feedback!

In Christ,
Karl Nielsen
